Executive Team
Antone Bencich Antone Bencich has been the TLX resident hotel operations authority since 2004, having served in similar capacities over the previous ten years with such brand hotels as the Four Seasons Hotel and Resorts, Evans Hotels, Hilton and Ritz Carlton. During his tenure in the hospitality industry, he held multiple executive roles as Director of Operations, and Hotel Manager. It was within those positions, that he enhanced his skills for customer service, revenue management, contracting, and overall hotel operations. His hotel expertise and his proficiencies are valuable skills that we utilize for the benefit of our customers. For those of our customers and prospective customers for whom golf is passion, it is interesting to note that Antone spent his formative years as a professional golfer. John Butterly John Butterly brings over 26-years of systems development experience to the Executive Team. Having worked at companies such as ExxonMobil, A T & T and Merrill Lynch, John has been instrumental in designing such cutting edge systems as the Mutual Fund Accounting (MFA) system used as the back office for of Merrill's mutual funds and Market Data Interface (MDI), an application programming interface system for QV Trading Systems. As Vice President of System Development at Merrill Lynch Asset Management, John ran their respected Fund Accounting System & Technology (FAS&T) department. He has been the chief architect in the building of our Layover Management System CrewRez®.
Carol Chandler Carol Chandler brings over 25 years of project management and administrative experience to the Executive Team. Carol held many positions while previously working at Bank of America for 20+ years. The last position she held was as the Sr. Vice President managing a team of project managers supporting the Credit Card Division. She has managed projects with budgets in excess of $8 million. She is trained in several project management methodologies and brings a unique perspective to projects by incorporating her knowledge to use the best method for a successful execution. During her career she has managed operations, customer service and accounting departments for large & small businesses.
Daniel Capozello Daniel has served the aviation industry for nearly 25 years. His first management position was with Suburban Airlines in Reading, PA as the Manager of Crew Scheduling. Daniel went on to play a key role at US Airways subsidiaries Potomac Airlines and MidAtlantic Airlines as the Director, Operations Control Centre for both carriers. During his career Daniel has developed a wide-ranging and respected view of airline solutions management and comes to the TLX Executive Team from Sabre Airline Solutions, where he most recently held the position of Manager, Flight Control Suite. Daniel has a proven track record for developing strategic plans and his extensive airline operations software knowledge has been influential in reshaping the future of crew scheduling automation in North America. He brings to TLX the ability to take full advantage of the optimization and automation in place and he will be instrumental in reshaping the future of the crew layover management experience for the next generation of airline professionals.
Chris J. Holdsworth Chris also has hospitality experience having worked at one of Phoenix' premier resort facilities: the Phoenician Hotel and Resort a Starwood Hotel Group' 5-Star 5-Diamond Luxury Collection Resort. In addition to his hospitality experience he brings experience in marketing and business development in which he derived from having worked with the leading Website, media and interactive marketing firm, Mission E Commerce. Finally, Chris is founder and CEO of 24 Hour Concierge, a concierge and travel solutions company and is Chairman of the board of Spa Click IMS, an inventory management and solutions company for the spa and hospitality industry. John Holdsworth John Holdsworth is an executive with more than 30 years global experience and accomplishments in the airline, hotel, sports and travel industries. As a co- founder of TLX, he has led its global expansion to offer the most comprehensive automated crew layover management system available today. John has been an investor and Senior Executive in startup companies to global conglomerates, including British Airways, First Data Corporation, News Corporation, Reed Elsevier, The Churchill Hotel Group and The Anasazi Group of companies. John has specialized in business development and strategic planning, with particular focus on applying technology solutions and associated distribution and marketing programs to meet business needs, as well as leading daily business operations. John was the former Executive Vice President - President Global Accounts and one of the principals, for the then Phoenix-based, REZsolutions Inc., that provided systems and solutions to over 80 major hotel brands and 6500 independent hotels, prior to its sale to then publicly traded Pegasus Solutions. He also served as Chairman of the Tourism Development Commission for the City of Scottsdale, as a director of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Phoenix, The Hotel Industry Switch Company, the Hotel Clearing Corporation and is a member of the Executive Committee and Director of the Scottsdale Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Every software development project needs a top notch applications guru. For TLX, Steve Tollefson is that guru and has been for the past ten years. Over that time, he has developed many of the key components of CrewRez® Airline Information System and the SQL database systems. Because the key to TLX systems is their ability to interface with the various constituents' management systems - This is a key role. Steve came to TLX by way of CIGNA HealthCare of Arizona and Wells Fargo Bank, where he honed his talents as a database administrator (DBA), who specialized in integrating disparate systems in a single serviceable SQL Server database.
Bill Watson William (Bill) Watson is an accomplished international business executive, and a seasoned player in both the Airline Industry (Director of Planning at Pan American World Airways and VP of Marketing at Altair Airlines) and the Hotel Industry (VP Strategic Marketing and Reservations at ITT Sheraton Worldwide Hotels and Resorts; COO of Best Western International Hotels Worldwide; and former Chairman of The Hotel Industry Switch Company - THISCO - now known as Pegasus Solutions). Bill is a co-founder of TLX and is uniquely qualified to address the concerns of our constituents. In addition to his roles at TLX, he serves as Managing Director of the Prism Partnership, a leading-edge Travel Industry consulting group with a virtual who's-who of brand name travel-industry clients, advising them on the myriad challenges faced in today's interconnected world. He previously was a director and audit committee member of Micros Systems (NASDAQ: MCRS), the world's largest supplier of hotel reservations, restaurant and retail POS systems and also served on the boards of Passkey Inc and Signature Inns.
